Spring Critter Birthday Cards

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m sharing 3 critter themed birthday cards, perfect for spring. These are all created with the interactive Reveal Wheel from Lawn Fawn. I just can’t get enough of the reveal wheel! I combined it with one of my favorite critters set from Simon Says Stamp, and these fun cards are the result. Here’s how I created these cutie-pie cards:

First, I created A2 top-folding card bases from various colored cardstocks (details for each card below!). Then I die cut the reveal wheel main dies from the same cardstock, and the wheel portions from some white cardstock in my scrap bin. Two of the cards also feature the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Square Window Add On (teal and purple cards). I ink blended the backgrounds using the Lawn Fawn Falling Hearts and Cloudy stencils. I stamped the sentiments in Versafine onyx black pigment ink. This is my favorite ink for stamping sentiments in! Just be careful - it’s a pigment ink, so it takes a bit of time to dry. I stamped various words in the reveal wheel window using the coordinating oxide ink.

Next, I stamped all the images on either Neenah solar white classic crest 110lb using Hero Arts INTENS-ified black ink, OR Bristol Smooth using Versafine onyx black pigment ink. These are my go-to inks for copic and zig clean color real brush marker coloring! I colored the images with my copic and zig markers.

Finally, I assembled the reveal wheel with a brad, and popped it up on my card using foam tape. It’s super helpful to visit Lawn Fawn’s website to watch videos on how to assemble the Reveal Wheel. I then added my critters to the card, after die cutting them out using the coordinating dies. I popped some up using foam tape and glued some others directly to the card panel. I finished the cards with some pearls from Pretty Pink Posh (my favorite shop for pearls)! I hope you have as much fun creating these cards as I did! The supplies I used are separated out by card and linked below for easy reference! Happy crafting!
