Velvet Meadow Craft Along – Part 3: Beautiful Floral Bouquet Cards

We’re back for Part 3 of the Velvet Meadow Craft Along!

So far, we’ve made four beautiful cards together, and today we’re adding two more to our Velvet Meadow collection!

For Part 3, we’re focusing on those gorgeous floral images and creating layered flower bouquets that really become the star of the cards.

One Design, Two Different Looks

One of my favorite things about these two cards is that they show just how much you can change a design simply by switching up your colors.

For our first card, we’re pairing the flowers with soft greens and a subtle gray splatter background. The result is pretty, soft, and a little more understated.

For our second version, we bring in more of those beautiful pink and raspberry tones, including a coordinating pink splatter background. It gives the same floral design a brighter, more colorful feel.

I love them both — and I’m not sure I could choose a favorite!

Building Our Floral Bouquets

The flowers are definitely the focus of these cards. We’ll layer our stamped and die-cut flowers with greenery to create lots of dimension and texture.

A deep green ribbon bow pulls everything together, and a few tiny flower embellishments scattered around the bouquet are the perfect finishing touch.

The backgrounds are intentionally simple so all of those beautiful flowers can really stand out. The little splatter details add just enough interest without competing with our focal point.
