Velvet Meadow Craft Along – Part 2: Stamping on Velvet!

We’re back for Part 2 of the Velvet Meadow Craft Along! 

In Part 1, we created our first two cards featuring the beautiful Velvet Meadow products, and now it’s time to pull those supplies back out and make two more cards together!

For these cards, we’re working with a softer color combination of pretty pinks, soft greens, and delicate meadow florals. I love how these two cards coordinate while still having their own little differences.

Two Cards, One Beautiful Design

For this part of the class, we’re creating a “Thanks” card and a “Just Because” card.

Both cards feature a beautiful floral focal panel layered over soft pink cardstock and coordinating patterned paper. We’ll add the deep green ribbon behind our sentiments and finish everything off with those adorable little flower embellishments.

One of my favorite things about these cards is how easy it is to take the same basic layout and change just a few details to create two different cards. It’s a great design to keep in mind when you want to make several cards at once!

The “Thanks” version is perfect for expressing a little gratitude, while “Just Because” is one of my favorite types of cards to have ready to go. Sometimes the best happy mail is the kind someone receives for absolutely no reason at all!
